Time is the most valuable commodity we have – people honor me by reading the newsletter. So I want to start out by saying thank you for taking a moment to read the latest from Zilli Hospitality Group.
We’re looking ahead to spring and summer, which are fast approaching although the snow is still flying as I type this. When I think of warm weather, I think of dining outdoors with friends and family.
Because we are so successful at doing signature events, people often don’t realize we also excel at picnics, tailgates, barbecues, pig roasts and other outdoor events. Years ago we were doing an event for the Pettit Ice Arena. The event manager mentioned picnics and I, in passing, mentioned some of the picnics we’d done. She said she didn’t know we did those types of events. We then shared with her the many corporations in SE Wisconsin who we’ve done events picnics for. Not only have we done dozens of picnics, we’ve done the three largest picnic events ever held in the State of Wisconsin - if not the Midwest. We are proud to have letters of recommendation and testimonials about what a huge success they were. In addition, have been featured as national experts about picnics at national tradeshow conferences in Las Vegas where we are invited to share our knowledge each year.
One of our strengths is we offer our clients the full range of event styles, as we say “dim to bright.” We create events to fit our clients’ need and budget. We’ve done box lunches and deli trays for picnics, traditional barbecues with beer brats, our signature rotisserie chicken, pig roasts, unique stations like our spud bar, and more. We’ve also done large tailgates, elaborate outdoor picnics and extravagant summer parties for thousands.
We’re also able to theme these outdoor events for an extra layer of fun. Because we have our own propping department and manager, we can create a sensory and visual experience that is unparalleled in this segment. And the best news of all is we are uber-competitive with pricing due to our ability to buy in large quantities vs. our peers. In our summer issue, we’ll expand upon this area and share some of the unique fun things you can do with picnics and tailgates. You might be surprised.
Whatever the need, we’d like to be your event partner. Give us a call and let’s get this party started: it’s only 100 days until July 4th! Regards, Jim
